Logan State Park is located in northwest Montana. With frontage on the north shore of Middle Thompson Lake, Logan is heavily forested with western larch, Douglas-fir, and ponderosa pine. A channel includes the Upper lake, and it connects Middle and Lower Thompson lakes. This state park is situated in the middle of the 3,000-acre Thompson Chain of Lakes State Park.

Attractions include swimming, boating, camping, horseshoe pit, water skiing, and good fishing.

This state park has an elevation of 3,333 feet, the park covers 17 acres.

There are 37 total campsites, and no tent-only sites. The RV/trailer size limit is 40 feet in length. The RV dump station closes at the beginning of October. This is a heavily forested, scenic area.

Season of operation depends upon weather conditions and access.
